Those of you with a technical bias may have a use for a device which will attach to a computer and allow you to read and write to Eproms or EEproms. Although there are dozens available for IBM computers, would you believe that there is not a single one for the Macintosh!
I spoke to the people at STAG who manufacture such devices and they told me that they receive only three or four enquiries a year from Macintosh users.
Now, I could certainly make use of one. May I suggest that, if you would rather program Eproms from a Macintosh rather than a PC, you ring STAG on 0707 332148 and let them know? Better still, send them a fax on 0707 371503.
If anybody out there knows enough about Mac programming, most of the STAG devices will accept serial RS232 data, so can you write an interface program?
